35k-star PDFMathTranslate: upload any paper or ebook, get a translated PDF with formulas, figures and layout intact. Pre-wired to AllRouter.

Why use this one

Most PDF translators flatten the document: equations turn into garbled text and two-column layouts collapse into one stream. PDFMathTranslate parses the layout first, so a physics paper still reads like a physics paper.

How to use it

  1. Upload an English paper (PDF) — no page limit for normal papers
  2. Pick a model; the cheapest one on the board handles bulk pages, premium ones read dense math best
  3. Download the bilingual PDF — formulas, figures and two-column layout stay intact

What it costs

Free anonymous quota to try it. Register (free) for about 15× more. Or paste your own AllRouter key for unlimited use — it stays in your browser and is never sent to our server. Every run shows its exact cost, down to $0.0001.

Questions

Do I need to install Python or Docker?

No. The project normally requires a local Python environment and a model API key. Here it runs on our machine — open it and upload a file.

Is my PDF stored?

The file is processed and returned; we do not build a library of user uploads. For anything confidential, run the project locally — the repo is open source and linked on this page.

What does it cost?

You get a free anonymous quota to try it, and a larger one after registering. Long books consume more tokens than short papers because every page is sent to the model.

About this page

This page exists because PDFMathTranslate is genuinely useful but takes real setup effort to run. We host it pre-configured so you can find out whether it fits your work before spending an afternoon on installation. If you like it, the source is right here — take it and self-host.
